For a multinational defence contractor: advised on the design and risk-modelling of energy-efficient AI within a classified additive-manufacturing system enabling downed military assets to self-repair in the field. The entire stack had to be sovereign - bare metal, chips, manufacturing and AI models built within the client's home country - and fully edge-based, with the mandate spanning the complete lifecycle from model development through supply chain to deployment.
Train-the-trainer programmes for critical infrastructure operators - ports, data centres, energy, hospitals, military and education - equipping senior IT, OT and IoT functions with working judgement on governance models, edge versus cloud deployment, human-in-the-loop design and machine learning. Already deployed at several UK sites, co-designed with a curated network of field-tested academics and industry experts, and now rolling out across Africa and Europe, including Switzerland in partnership with Sovereign Technology Switzerland.
Invited to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary industry teams on smart offshore hydrogen generation, transportation and storage, with the resulting work presented to national and multinational decision-making groups as defensible energy-security planning. It now extends to meshed intelligence systems that respond to geopolitical, weather and conflict factors alongside real-time energy demand, with the capacity to relocate, defend, adapt and repair themselves.
A full-stack sovereign, defensible micro data centre design that removes exposure to US-controlled AI and compromised bare metal, and engineers out the diesel generator through closed-loop cooling with waste-heat recovery, renewable micro grids and hydrogen, methanol or gravity-based backup. Sited close to local offtakers in health, military, municipal, logistics and government to cut latency and single points of failure, it is currently being applied in Switzerland, the UK and other parts of Europe and Africa.
